SCIENCE & INNOVATION
A formulation is more
than its ingredients.
Performance emerges from the relationship between chemistry, process and application. We approach material development with all three in view.
The finished material
sets the brief.
A stabilizer has to work within a real formulation, on a real processing line. Resin characteristics, filler loading, plasticizers, pigments and lubrication all influence the result.
Our application conversations begin with that complete picture. We help you identify an appropriate grade, establish evaluation priorities and interpret trial feedback in the context of your own process.
Thermal endurance. Processing behaviour. Material performance. Considered together.
Technical evaluation with a clear purpose.
For cable applications, discuss the relevant thermal-ageing methods and acceptance criteria with our team, including applicable methods within IEC 60811 where appropriate. A test method reference does not, by itself, establish product certification.
For profiles and flexible PVC, evaluation priorities may include fusion behaviour, colour stability, surface quality and the mechanical properties relevant to the intended application.
OUR DEVELOPMENT APPROACH
From a better question
to a better formulation.
Define the requirement
Application, resin system, processing conditions and target properties.
Select the chemistry
A suitable stabilizer and lubricant approach for the complete compound.
Evaluate in context
Trial the formulation and assess the properties that matter in use.
Refine the solution
Use observations and test results to guide formulation adjustments.
MATERIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Progress through
considered chemistry.
Calcium-zinc systems provide a pathway for manufacturers considering alternatives to conventional lead-based PVC stabilization. The choice should be supported by application-specific evaluation and current product documentation.
Our focus is practical: select an appropriate formulation, understand its processing behaviour, and evaluate the performance and regulatory requirements of the finished application.
